This guide will help you if you are having trouble logging into your Milkshake account.

Try logging in with your Milkshake URL

Logging in with your Milkshake URL is only available in version 1.7.1 and higher. If you are on an older version, update or skip this section.

How do I sign in with my Milkshake URL?

  • Type your Milkshake URL in the ‘Your email / Milkshake URL’ field

  • Tap on the ‘Your password’ field

  • You will see a hint that will let you know what sign in method you used with this account.

  • Enter your password or click the ‘Continue with Apple/Google/Facebook’ option that matches your hint

What is my Milkshake URL?

Your Milkshake URL is the web address that you can use to visit your Milkshake site.

For example, our site is https://msha.ke/go.milkshake (feel free to pay us a visit 😉)

When you log in, you just need to enter the part of the address after the `msha.ke`

For example, we would enter, go.milkshake

Why am I seeing the 'Create Website URL' screen when I log in?

This is one of the most common questions people have when they have trouble logging into their Milkshake account. Don’t worry - your site has not disappeared!

If you see this screen it means that you are trying to log in with the wrong account details.

Return to the previous screen and try these troubleshooting tips:

  • You may have originally signed up using social login. Please try signing in with the ‘Continue with Apple/ Google/ Facebook’ options.

  • Check the spelling of the email you have entered is correct

  • You may have signed up with a different email address, go through these troubleshooting tips for remembering your email

Why am I seeing an ‘Email not found’ error when I try to log in?

If you are seeing this error, it means that we can’t find a Milkshake account with a matching email address. Please try the following troubleshooting tips:

  • Check the spelling of the email you have entered is correct

  • This error means you probably signed up with a different email address, go through these troubleshooting tips for remembering your email

  • You may have originally signed up using social login. Please try signing in with the ‘Continue with Apple/ Google/ Facebook’ options.

I have forgotten my password

If you’ve forgotten your password you can reset it. Instructions can be found in the how to reset your password article.

Tips for remembering what email you signed up with

If you can't remember which email address you used to sign up, try these troubleshooting tips:

  • You may have originally signed up using social login. Please try signing in with the ‘Continue with Apple/ Google/ Facebook’ options.

  • Search all your email inboxes for the text ‘Verify your email for Milkshake’. We send you an email with this subject line when you sign up for your account.

  • Use the 'Forgot password' link on the Sign in screen, enter each of your email addresses. If your address exists in our system, a password reset email will be sent to you. Check your spam/junk folder for the email if you don't receive it within a few minutes.

  • You may have made a spelling mistake in your email when you signed up for your account, if this is the case you will need to contact support. Include your Milkshake website URL and an explanation of your problem in your support request.
