Setting up your Sell Card

Add a Sell Card to your Milkshake site, connect Stripe, list your first item, and start taking payments through your bio link.

This is a new feature rolling out in our 1.16.0 release.

To take payments, you'll need to connect a Stripe account. Sell Cards are currently in Beta. We'd love to hear what you think as we keep building it out.

Setting up a Sell Card on your Milkshake site takes a few minutes. Here's the flow:

  1. Add a Sell Card. Tap the + at the bottom of your Home screen, then choose Sell from the list.

  2. Connect Stripe so you can take payments. Stripe handles the money side. You'll only do this once. Once you have done everything to connect it you will see a green tick! This process takes around 15 minutes if you do not already have a Stripe account.

  3. Add an item. Each item has its own heading, description, price, and at least one deliverable (a file, link, or message your customer receives after buying). You can list multiple items on a single Sell Card.

  4. Publish your Milkshake site and share the link. Your visitors can browse and buy on the spot.

Once your first sale comes through, you can track it in the Sales screen and watch your sales stats build up in Insights. For more on how selling fits into Milkshake, see the Selling on Milkshake overview.
